What can I say. This was a great race all the way. Up until the peloton came into view it was all Gilbert. Then Evan's had a go and really did the jersey proud right up to the bitter end. He has moved into my list of favourites after the grit and determination that he showed, also the fact that he can wrestle a bike up a mountain face and still not loose too much time. But the day went to the Thor Huschovd and he will look good in those rainbow stripes.
