After a stint in the Alps the two contenders have emerged as most predicted. It would have been nice to see it more than a two horse race but so the cookie crumbles, or at least riders legs crumble. The fight went out of Evans and the ugliest looking rider has worked his way into my heart and I really felt for him. If there was one rider who truely deserved the yellow jersey come Champs it would be him, but then Tours aren't always won by the most deserving rider. I am glad though that Andy has stuck in there and been able to ride into yellow.
